Our history

In 2012, Pedro García and Roberto Lira joined forces. They were certain that two problems inherent to the transport industry (accidents and lack of productivity) could be solved by applying science and analysis to the large volume of information naturally generated by the industry. The first three years were dedicated to understanding the area, developing concept models that they tried to validate with real data. In 2016, they started developing solutions based on their own algorithms. In 2017, they created the risk solution RAEV, and in 2018, the RACC solution was born.

With the launch of these two algorithms, MIGTRA got its formal start. Soon they were working with the two main mining companies in Chile: SQM and Codelco, as well as one of the main distributors of LPG, Abastible. Later, thanks to the quality of their solutions, they won the seed capital from Corfo, which was the push they needed to continue positioning themselves in the market. Since then, they have kept growing at a fast pace and strengthening their products, algorithms, technologies, and work models.
